What is our passion?

Our passion is the Lord Jesus Christ—knowing Him and making Him known to the world around us. For that reason, we are a church which spends time together in the deep study of His Word, the Bible, and applying that teaching to our everyday lives.

What that means is, when you join us for worship or any of our times of teaching, you will hear words such as theology, lordship, life reformed, obedience, covenant, sovereignty and more. These are some of the terms that we use to help us in our understanding of what we find in God’s Word, the Bible. We take these attributes of our worship and study seriously! Therefore, we strive to apply those things we learn and discuss to the practice of our daily lives. None of this is possible in our own strength and so we give ourselves also to corporate prayer, asking that the Holy Spirit will empower us to be His obedient witnesses and servants.

With that in mind, we are also a group of believers who love the fellowship and service that comes from being intimately and genuinely committed to one another. We are truly thankful that God has given us new life through the shed blood of Jesus, His Son; that He has made us a family in Him; and last but not least, that He has entrusted us with the wonderful message of His Gospel.
